I'm just your average geeky girl. Most of my room is lined from wall to wall with fantasy, sci-fi and graphic novels. I buy books like most women buy shoes. I'm not a huge gamer, but I have a fondness for RPGs, and I'm finally finishing up every side quest on Skyrim. I'm trying to become more involved with D&D and tabletop games, but I haven't found a group yet that doesn't look at me like I'm a strange alien being because I'm female. I do watch anime, mostly just to laugh at it, but there are some genuinely good anime series that put live action tv to shame. Aside from my geekiness, I work full time at an assisted living facility, mainly with dementia patients. I'm kind of like a kindergarten teacher for 90 year olds, which is pretty awesome. I'm hoping to advance my career in the medical field by going back to school this coming fall, and hopefully I'll be working in a hospital this time next year. I can be a bit nervous and shy in real life, but once I get to know a person they will find I am incredibly open, kind and a mixture of sarcastic and sweet. I love to laugh at life, and especially at myself. I find a sense of humor in other people incredibly attractive. I'm a good listener and tend to be the shoulder my friends lean on when they're having a bad day. Right now, I'm just looking for something casual and fun, that person who can give me something to look forward to all week.
